The first program is 5 1/2 by 8 inches in size, 4 pages, dated March 12, 1944 and has a notice from the Baltimore Committee on Civilian Defense discussing the 28,000 fire pumps installed about the city and how to use them. The second program is 3 1/2 by 4 3/4 inches in size and 4 pages. Both are in excellent condition and advise "BUY U.S. WAR STAMPS AND BONDS AT THIS THEATER." $20 for both

This Baltimore Maryland menu is dated 2-19-44, is 7 by 11 inches in size, 4 pages and in very good condition. Included is a 6 by 10 inch single-page insert. The menu makes references to sugar rationing, meat rationing, OPA price ceilings and a 10% discount for servicemen. The insert also makes reference to "meatless Tuesdays and Fridays." On one side is a depiction of Uncle Sam carrying an armload of weapons and on the other side is a depiction of a Minuteman and "FOR VICTORY, BUY UNITED STATES WAR BONDS AND STAMPS." Along the inside bottom rim is "NO. 8 CUP FOR HOT DRINKS A PRODOCT OF CUPPLES-HESSE SAINT LOUIS U.S.A." They are extremely difficult to find as they were made to be disposable and most were used until the supplies were exhausted. A desirable item for a Homefront collector, World War II collector, "VICTORY" item collector or War Bond and Stamp collector. Excellent condition. $150

This set of twenty toy soldiers is in the original box. As was done during World War II they are made of cardboard to conserve essential war metals. The radioman stands 3 inches tall. The box is in very good condition and is 7 by 9 1/2 inches in size. The twenty soldiers are in excellent condition. A nice item for the toy collector or homefront collector. $125
SW090 World War I Bronze "WAR SERVICE" Plaque
This plague is of heavy cast bronze, 4 1/2 by 5 inches in size and in new, unused condition. I have collected "IN SERVICE" memorabilia for about forty-five years. In that time I have only seen four of these plaques. The other three are in my collection and consist of a single star version, a three-star version and a single star version engraved on the bar under the star "19 - EDWARD M. BURTON - 18". I have researched these plaques and have never found any reference to them or any advertisements for them. $265 (Or trade for a two-star version.)
