Along the inside bottom rim is "NO. 8 CUP FOR HOT DRINKS A PRODOCT OF CUPPLES-HESSE SAINT LOUIS U.S.A." They are extremely difficult to find as they were made to be disposable and most were used until the supplies were exhausted. A desirable item for a Homefront collector, World War II collector, "VICTORY" item collector or War Bond and Stamp collector. Excellent condition. $150

This plague is of heavy cast bronze, 4 1/2 by 5 inches in size and in new, unused condition. I have collected "IN SERVICE" memorabilia for about forty-five years. In that time I have only seen four of these plaques. The other three are in my collection and consist of a single star version, a three-star version and a single star version engraved on the bar under the star "19 - EDWARD M. BURTON - 18". I have researched these plaques and have never found any reference to them or any advertisements for them. $265 (Or trade for a two-star version.)
